Joseph W. Lown. is both bilingual and binational. He brings a unique resume and background to Allende Properties, a Christie’s Great Estates exclusive affiliate. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Principia College, a Texas Real Estate Brokers license and a Texas Mortgage Brokers license as well as memberships with the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and AMPI (Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios). Before moving to San Miguel, Joseph served as the mayor of his hometown, San Angelo, Texas. He won four elections accruing 89% of the vote. His term in office proved to be a great education in urban planning, land management, land use, historic redevelopment, zoning and neighborhood development. Moreover, Joseph developed many relationships and friendships across Texas, the U.S. and Mexico. From 1999 to 2001, Joseph served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia.
